I'm not AS annoyed about it because I've been on an upgrade cycle since paying full price for V6, so for me the gap between what I paid for C9 (via upgrade) and the cost of the Humble Bundle is less. Why worry about it? Techsmith needs to worry about it more than many customers do, and not just because of support requests. I don't know what HumbleBundle is offering as a price (probably a fair bit less), but at least you know that you'll get the right version for your platform and you won't have any licencing issues.
In my humble opinion you'd be far better off just buying a legitimate bundle directly from Techsmith. There is nothing on the HumbleBundle page that suggests that Techsmith is a "partner".

Why would they bundle a Mac version of one product with a Windows version of another one? The first thing is that Camtasia 9 was not Mac software it was Windows software.
